Bremen School Board Approves General Obligation Bond Process

The Bremen School Board approved the process in obtaining General Obligation bonds in the amount of $3 million to address Elementary School building structure needs, including metal panels and replacing windows, among other improvements.

Superintendent Dr. Jim White explained that there is some debt rolling off and a General Obligation bond could be obtained without any increases in taxes.

The school board will get more paperwork regarding the process in September.  Dr. White said the process should take about two or three months to complete.
