Midland Engineering has begun roof renovations on the Plymouth Public Library.
Center St. is closed to southbound traffic. The project has a duration estimate of three months.
Power lines obstructing access to the roof on three sides of the building resulted in a need to access the building from Center St.
The southbound lane is blocked, along with a no parking order enforceable by the Plymouth Police Department and the southbound sidewalk bordering the building will remain closed during construction.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works previously approved the request with the stipulation that Jim Marquardt provide final approval on a street closure for that length of time which was granted.
Detour signage is posted. Entrances and exits to the building are not restricted.
