Plymouth School Board Approves Appointment of High School Co-Principal

The Plymouth School Board members approved the appointment of a co-principal at the High School.

Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter said the action was taken during Tuesday night’s school board meeting.

“Mr. Condon will be working with Jacob Singleton.  Jacob is currently at our Junior High and he is the assistant,” stated Mawhorter.

Mawhorter explained the idea behind the co-principal position.

“They’ve had, traditionally, a director.  We are looking long-term and we would like to have one principal that everybody goes to.  It’s just a different structure.”

The board approved the appointment with a unanimous vote.
