Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters discussed the upcoming Community Crossings Matching Grant projects for which the county was awarded $1 million in the most recent round of grant awards.
The projects include Tamarack from U.S. 6 to County Line Road, Pear Road from 14B to 18B, and 15th from State Road 17 to Thorn at the railroad tracks. Additional paving projects included in the request are 1st Road from Tamarack to County Line Road, Sycamore from 9th to U.S. 30, Union from 9C to 10B, and 12th from North Michigan to Maple.
Request for Proposals are being advertised and they are to be turned into the Auditor’s Office by May 16 by 9 a.m. ET and opened by the commissioners at the 9:30 a.m. ET meeting that same day.
