The American Red Cross is looking to collect blood donations to keep up supplies before families travel abroad for summer vacations.
According to the Red Cross, volunteer donors are the only source of blood for patients with blood disorders, trauma victims and those experiencing difficult childbirths.
All who donate blood through May 19, will receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice and will also be automatically entered to win a travel trailer camper that sleeps eight. Those who donate May 20-31 will receive an exclusive 20-ounce Red Cross aluminum water bottle and customizable sticker set, while supplies last.
A few appointments remain for the Blood Drive at the Argos United Methodist Church. This event is Thursday, May 19 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET at the church at 540 N. Michigan Street.
Another blood drive is scheduled for Thursday, May 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET at the Knights of Columbus at 901 E. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
