Two Arrested on Drug Charges after Police Execute Search Warrant

Two people were arrested Thursday, March 31 after a search warrant was executed by the Marshall County Drug Task Force, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department with K9 Diesel, and Indiana State Police with K9 Chase.

Police say the search warrant was executed in the 19,000 block of 9th Road in Plymouth.  During the investigation, officers reportedly located and seized several grams of cocaine and other Schedule II controlled substances, large amounts of marijuana, marijuana edibles, scales and packaging materials, and several hundred dollars in cash.  Several children were removed from the home as well, according to the report.

Gabrielle Burgh and Troy Burgh were arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in cocaine as a Level 2 Felony, and Level 6 Felony charges of dealing in marijuana, neglect of a dependent, and maintaining a common nuisance.  They were also served arrest warrants in an unrelated case investigated by the Plymouth Police Department. 

They are currently being held in the Marshall County Jail with no bond.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty in a court of law.
