Plymouth Board of Works and Public Safety, City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight where they will consider a resolution regarding the sale of Tech-Farm land proceeds.

The board members will also review requests to close streets for special events.  The department heads will also provide updates. 

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET. 

The Plymouth City Council will look to consider an annexation request and hold a public hearing on additional appropriations for the airport hangar.  An application to vacate property is also on the agenda. 

The council will review an ordinance that pertains to the adoption of Personnel Policy, and another that pertains to alcoholic beverages during the Blueberry Festival, plus an ordinance that addresses annexation.  Several resolutions are also up for approval that include an additional appropriation, the confirmation of certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area for HP Plymouth, LLC, and pledging financial support for the Marshall County Blue Zones project. 

A discussion surrounding Fire Department equipment will also be had with the council members. 

Both the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Plymouth City Council will meet in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street.  Those interested in attending the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
