Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety, City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight where they will discuss a street closure request and a Join the Journey 5k and Family Fun Run. 

Department heads will provide information to the board as necessary.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET. 

Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter will present the State of the City Address during the Plymouth City Council meeting. 

Following that address, the council will consider an ordinance to amend the code of ordinances concerning volunteer firefighters.  They will also consider an ordinance to amend the 2022 Salary Ordinance, and another that adopts personnel policy reference.  The last ordinance to be reviewed will be one concerning alcoholic beverages during the Blueberry Festival. 

An additional appropriations resolution and a resolution that would declare certain real estate an Economic Revitalization Area for HP Plymouth, LLC are up for consideration tonight. You can also know about Outsourcing as they can help you in dealing with real estate.

Information from Steven Justice from the Indiana Attorney General’s Office will be given to the council and the council will hold discussion on IT services.

Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street.  Those interested in attending the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
