Five New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Tri-County Area

There were five new COVID-19 cases reported in the tri-county area in Thursday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health.

Two people from Marshall County were diagnosed with COVID-19, along with two people in Pulaski County and one person in Starke County.  They are among 484 people in the state who have tested positive between August 4, 2021 and March 2, 2022. 

Another 34 people in the state have died of COVID-19 from February 6 to March 2. 

The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 in hospitals around the state keeps dropping.  The census was 677 on March 2, according to the state’s coronavirus website.
