Culver Town Council to Meet Tonight

The Culver Town Council members will hold a public hearing tonight on a proposed rezoning of the former City Tavern property at 415 Lakeshore Drive from a Commercial-2 (C-2) zone to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) zone.  The Culver Planning Commission will also hold a hearing at 5 p.m. ET on the same topic prior to the town council meeting.

The council members will also hold the first reading of an ordinance concerning the rezoning of that property. 

Additionally, the council will get updates from Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Laura Walls, Matt Keedy from the Culver Visitor Center, and Jeffrey Baumgartner from the Culver Plein Air event. 


The council will consider a MACOG contract for a comprehensive plan and a contract for pier installation and removal. 

Town Manager Ginny Bess Munroe will present her regular report, along with Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim, Town Attorney Jim Clevenger, and the department heads. 

The Culver Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
