PLYMOUTH — AT&T FirstNet Solution is the AT&T nationwide high-speed wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety which is designed to maximize dependable mobile access to first responders including Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS, Dispatch, Government, Emergency Planning and Management Offices.

The City of Plymouth will be transitioning to that service for all City of Plymouth issued phones. Other departments in the city can be elevated for a limited period of time on that bandwidth during emergencies or events such as the Marshall County Blueberry Festival where communication may be compromised due to heavy use or critical need.

Member Shiloh Milner is employed with AT&T. The Plymouth Common Council accepted a Uniform Conflict of Interest regarding AT&T Mobility Services and Associated AT&T Business Entities as the first step in the transition to that program.
