A Bremen man died as a result of injuries sustained in a Monday afternoon crash in Marshall County.
Officials from the Marshall County Coroner’s Office say that 80-year-old Clifford Weldy was traveling east on Veterans Parkway east of Michigan Road in Plymouth in a 2016 GMC Terrain just after 2:30 p.m. ET when the accident occurred. A second westbound vehicle was involved in the crash where the occupants of that vehicle were transported to the Plymouth hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Marshall County Coroner John Grolich determined that Weldy died of multiple blunt force injuries.
More information about the crash will be released by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
The Marshall County Coroner’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Plymouth Fire Department, Marshall County Highway Department and the Indiana State Police.
