The Argos Town Council members gave approval for the advertisement of a bid package for the construction of a utility building.
Argos Town Attorney Derek Jones explained that Utility Superintendent Jamie Lindstrom has been working on the project and has plans and specifications for a utility building for the Utility Department. Jones said the plans were approved by the State Department of Health.
Lindstrom said the project cost may come in higher than what was quoted a few months ago, but bids can be rejected if costs are entirely too high.
Bids are anticipated to be opened Monday, April 18 with a bid award anticipated during the Argos Town Council meeting Wednesday, April 20.
