The Culver School Board members reviewed a recommended quote from Mike Zehner for updated weight room equipment at the high school.
The lowest quote was from Pro Industries at $82,785 for all new equipment in the weight room. Superintendent Karen Shuman told the school board that all of the equipment is obsolete or needs improved. All of the old equipment will be removed with new equipment including racks, dumbbells, benches, Olympic bars, pull bars, and other systems. The floor tile will also be replaced in the weight room.
Treasurer/Business Manager Casey Howard commented that this project was in the corporation plans for this year and the quote comes in under the $100,000 budgeted for the project.
The school board members unanimously approved the quote.
