The Marshall County Commissioners plan to discuss the Sheriff’s Salary Contract when they meet today. The county council approved it last week by a vote of 6-1.
Sandy Dunfee from the Marshall County Health Department will discuss the Crisis Co Ag Supplemental Workforce in School grant request. The commissioners approved the request at their December 6 meeting, but a motion to approve the request during the Marshall County Council meeting last week died for a lack of second. Language in the proposed grant regarding the compliance with future directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was cited as a reason that council members would not support it.
A public hearing concerning a variance will be opened by the commissioners with information presented by Plan Director Ty Adley.
The commissioners will also appointment a member to the Argos Public Library and to the Plan Commission Board.
Coroner John Grolich is expected to present an update this morning, along with Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Julie Fox.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today at 9:30 a.m. ET in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
