The Marshall County Commissioners reviewed a resolution Monday morning that takes measures to re-number the priority service areas in the Regional Sewer District.
A previous resolution that established a Regional Sewer District omitted the areas of Tyner and Teegarden after residents highly objected to the inclusion of those areas to be part of a Regional Sewer District for several months. The resolution presented Monday morning re-numbers the priority service areas (PSA) as a recommendation of succession.
The first PSA is the Latonka, Lawrence Lake and Mill Pond areas, followed by Bremen East; North Michigan area; Rushmoor; Donaldson; McQueen’s; Golfview; Deer Trail, Tall Oaks and Carriage Hills; South Michigan, Inwood, Burr Oak, Hawk Lake, and Tippecanoe.
The resolution also included that the establishment of the Regional Sewer District shall not include the areas of Tyner and Teegarden.
The commissioners approved the resolution with a unanimous vote.
