Culver Town Council Considers Several Traffic Ordinances

The Culver Town Council members considered several ordinances last week that regulate parking and traffic in the municipality.

One ordinance addresses the placement of signs near the electric car charging station on Jefferson Street.  Parking will be prohibited by gasoline powered automobiles in the area of the charging station.  Only electric cars will be permitted in the designated area.  Official signs will be installed that would designate the no parking area.  Any person in violation of the ordinance would be subject to the standard fines and costs.

The ordinance was adopted by the Culver Town Council members.

They also approved an ordinance that places a stop sign on Cavalier Drive at the intersection of Sandhill Boulevard in order to control the flow of traffic on the two streets.  Anyone in violation of the ordinance would be subject to the standard fines as previously adopted by the Culver Town Council.

Additionally, the council members adopted an ordinance where Washington Street will be designated a one-way street going west from Coolidge Court to Lake Street.
