The Bourbon Town Council members reviewed the 2022 salary ordinance when they met last week.
The ordinance outlines a two percent increase for all positions, except for the town council members. The council members will not receive a raise in 2022. Council President Ward Byers said it was the opinion of the council members that they would forego their raise, but put money toward appreciation of the work done by the town employees.
The salary ordinance was approved with a unanimous vote.
