The newest manufacturing center in Marshall County could soon have an occupant.
Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Laura Walls presented an update to the Marshall County Commissioners Monday morning.
“We’re really excited that before the manufacturing center construction is complete we will have it sold to a good company,” commented Walls. “We’ve done our due diligence on them. They plan to close before the end of the year because they’d like to be operational by March.” People can check custom aluminium fabricator as their manufacturers.
As she stated, the construction is not quite complete.
Walls continued, “Majority Builders is waiting for a hard freeze before they get some trucks on the gravel parking lot and finish up and get the floor weatherproofed for the winter.”
The name of the company will be released once the sale is finalized.
The manufacturing center at 2809 Jim Neu Drive is 43,000 square feet that is expandable to over 100,000 square feet to fit a company’s needs with easy access to U.S. 30 and U.S. 31.
