A donation to the United Way of Marshall County could help provide funds to assist with door-to-door trips for a person unable to drive, seven days of meals to a Marshall County family, or rent or utility assistance to prevent homelessness. Donations to the Marshall County Community Foundation can be made by calling 574-935-5159 or by visiting https://www.marshallcountygives.org/. Foundation officials say contributing from an IRA to a fund at the Marshall County Community Foundation, or creating a new one, is an easy way to reduce the tax burden and make a significant gift to support causes that mean the most.
