A Develop Culver study, in collaboration with enFocus, Inc., concentrated on developing a plan on how to convert part-time residents in Culver to full-time residents. The information was presented to the Culver Town Council members during their meeting last week.
An online survey was conducted, 19 one-on-one interviews were completed, and information was gathered from three focus groups which all produced data that can be a launching point for Develop Culver members and town officials to generate further conversations for economic and comprehensive plan efforts, and collaboration points for non-profit organizations, and businesses in Culver to enhance the community.
According to Develop Culver, the study found that full-time residents would prefer year-round activities in the wintertime, reliable broadband across the community and a remote workspace hub with reliable internet and office space, and more opportunities or special occasions for all Culver residents to assemble.
This study was funded by a grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
