Bremen Town Council Reviews Intergovernmental Agreement with Lake of the Woods Sewer District

The Bremen Town Council reviewed an intergovernmental agreement with Lake of the Woods concerning wastewater needs.

The agreement outlines the work the Bremen Wastewater Department would conduct at the Lake of the Woods Wastewater Plant.  Testing and other work needed to be done would be conducted at a cost of $2,400 a month in the three-year agreement.  Wastewater Superintendent Matt Cunningham stated that is an increase of $400 a month that the Lake of the Woods Sewer District would pay the Town of Bremen. 

The Bremen Town Council members approved the agreement with a unanimous vote. 

Additionally, the council members reappointed Cunningham to the Lake of Woods Sewer District Board.
