The Argos Town Council members reviewed the plat for the new Deerfield Subdivision last week.
Argos Economic Development Director Mark VanDerWeele said this is the last piece of the puzzle prior to construction. The plat divides the lots for the construction of 32 single-family housing units on 21 acres on South Kenilworth that could begin yet this year or in 2022. The subdivision will be in a housing TIF District, which makes it the fourth TIF District in the Town of Argos.
The town council members approved the plat and Town Council President George Null signed the required paperwork. It will be recorded in the Marshall County Recorder’s Office.
