The Marshall County Council members took action Monday morning to adopt four budgets.
The Solid Waste District budget was adopted at a total of $396,582 with a tax rate of 0.0165.
The East Shore Conservancy District budget was adopted at a total of $310,360 with a tax rate of 0.1102.
The Bremen Public Library’s budget was adopted at a total of $1,335,975 with a tax rate of 0.1931.
The Marshall County total budget is $28,227,557 with a tax rate of 0.4951. The Rainy Day Fund is $2,166,000, the General Fund is about $15.8 million, 2015 Reassessment Fund is about $476,000, the Highway Department budget is about $4.6 million, Local Roads and Street is $741,000, Cumulative Bridge Fund is about $2 million, the Health Fund is about $660,000, the Emergency Telephone System is about $745,000 and the Cumulative Capital Development Fund is about $922,000.
All budgets were adopted with a unanimous vote. The Department of Local Government Finance will now review the budgets.
