Students from Bremen High School visited with members of the Bremen utilities and town manufacturing facilities as a part of Manufacturer’s Day Wednesday, October 13.
They went to Southwire, Bremen Castings, NISCO, NexGen Industryz, Special Edition Inc., Precision Painting, and several Bremen utility departments.
Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy and Marshall County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) Project Manager Greg Hildebrand stated that students were able to engage with manufacturing employees and town employees and learn about the different types of industries in Bremen.
MCEDC and the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership are working to help industry and schools support high-quality career education activities.
