The Argos Town Council members took action last week to adopt the 2022 budget.
The Rainy Day Fund is estimated at $40,000, the General Fund is at about $914,000, Motor Vehicle Highway is $280,000, Storm Sewer is $29,000, Park and Recreation is about $136,000, Cemetery Fund is $17,000, Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund at $30,000, Special Fire Protections Territory General Fund is $577,544, and Special Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund at $55,000.
The second and third reading of the budget ordinance was approved with a 4-1 vote. President George Null abstained from the vote.
