Two Plymouth Residents Arrested on Suspicion of Drug Possession

Two residents from Plymouth were arrested Saturday just after midnight following a traffic stop in the area of Olive Trail North of 11th Road.

During the traffic stop, officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reportedly found drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. 

The driver, 21-year-old Mikayla Penrod, and passenger, 23-year-old Zakrey James Early, were taken to the Marshall County Jail, according to the report.  Penrod faces preliminary charges of possession of cocaine and/or narcotic drug, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.  Early faces preliminary charges of possession of cocaine and/or narcotic drug and possession of paraphernalia. 

Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
