The Argos Town Council will open a public hearing next week concerning the proposed 2022 budget.
The Rainy Day Fund is estimated at $40,000, the General Fund is at about $914,000, Motor Vehicle Highway is $280,000, Storm Sewer is $29,000, Park and Recreation is about $136,000, Cemetery Fund is $17,000, Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund at $30,000, Special Fire Protections Territory General Fund is $577,544, and Special Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund at $55,000.
The budget hearing will be during the Argos Town Council’s regular meeting Wednesday, September 15 at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Argos Town Hall at 201 Walnut Street.
