Work continues this week on Community Crossings projects and other road program projects in Marshall County.
Crews will be out working on 2B Road from State Road 331 to the County Line this week.
Paving is ongoing on 2B Road from State Road 331 to Beech Road. Highway Superintendent Jason Peters urges drivers to avoid this area this week. The road will be closed in different sections during the paving process, but emergency vehicles, delivery vehicles and homeowners will have access.
Milling work is done on Sycamore from State Road 6 to 4B Road with paving to begin Thursday, September 30.
Milling work is also done on Michigan Road from U.S. 31 to Argos Town Limits. Resurfacing is expected to begin there Monday, October 4. Milling is expected to start on North Shore, 3A and East Shore at the Lake of the Woods this week.
Work is set to start soon on Muckshaw from 13th to 14th Roads, 14th from Muckshaw to U.S. 31, West and South Shore at Lake Maxinkuckee, Sage from South Shore to State Road 110, and the Pretty Lake area.
