The Marshall County Commissioners will review several resolutions that are part of the county’s Continuous Operations Plan. They will be presented for approval by EMA Director Clyde Avery.
Rick Anderson from Johnson Melloh will give the commissioners some ideas on energy conservation opportunities, while Sheriff Matt Hassel will discuss radio upgrades and 911 consoles. Additionally, Prosecutor Nelson Chipman will talk about Flock Safety Systems and Health Administrator Faith Chapman will ask to apply for two grants.
The commissioners will open two public hearings. Plan Director Ty Adley will present information from Homer and Freda Miller pertaining to a minor subdivision in one hearing. The other hearing will concern the vacation of an easement in Shady Brook Estates.
Sharon Leathers will have comments that are toward the proposed sewer district that involves the community of Tyner.
Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will provide his regular update, along with County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Julie Fox.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. ET today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
