Bourbon Town Council Acts on Resignations of Utility Superintendent, BZA Member

The Bourbon Town Council members accepted the resignation of Utility Superintendent Steve Stacy during their meeting Tuesday night.

Town Council President Ward Byers said Stacy submitted his resignation on August 27.  The council members voted to appoint Street Superintendent Roger Terry as the interim utility superintendent.  He will hold that position for a while until the town opens up the position after the first of the year in 2022.  Terry will simultaneously continue work as the street superintendent.

The town council also approved the resignation of Susie Schaetzle from the Board of Zoning Appeals.  They will be finding a replacement for her position.  She also held a position on the Bourbon Planning Commission so a new BZA member may need to fill that seat.   The council thanked her for her years of service.
