The Argos Town Council members will hold a workshop at 6:30 p.m. ET where Baker Tilly officials will go over information in a water and sewer rate study for possible increases.
Following the work session, the council members will take public comments on the proposed 2022 budget.
The Rainy Day Fund is estimated at $40,000, the General Fund is at about $914,000, Motor Vehicle Highway is $280,000, Storm Sewer is $29,000, Park and Recreation is about $136,000, Cemetery Fund is $17,000, Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund at $30,000, Special Fire Protections Territory General Fund is $577,544, and Special Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund at $55,000.
The town council members are also anticipated to set trick-or-treat hours and receive updates from department heads, as necessary.
The Argos Town Council’s regular meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET tonight at the Argos Town Hall at 201 Walnut Street.
