One property in Argos will soon be cleaned up as the Argos Town Council previously deemed it an unsafe property.
Town Attorney Derek Jones updated the Town Council on the situation last week on Church Street. The town previously advertised for contractors to submit information on costs for clean-up, but there were no bids. Jones said it is not uncommon for that to happen as several municipal entities are experiencing the same issues.
The bidding process will be re-advertised and those bids will be opened during the council’s meeting on Wednesday, October 6.
