Plymouth Community Schools Keep Original Return-to-School Guidance

Plymouth Community School Corporation students return to school Wednesday, August 11 and the guidance concerning the return to school will remain as previously approved.

Masks will be optional for wear inside the school buildings and other places, but they will be required on school buses per federal mandate.  Students will be instructed in the classroom.  Virtual learning will be allowed on a case-by-case basis under certain circumstances.

If a student is exposed to a person that has tested positive with COVID-19, quarantine protocols will be initiated.  Students that have been vaccinated and exposed to a positive person will not have to quarantine unless they experience symptoms.  Proof of vaccination will need to be provided to the school nurse if a student is exposed to a positive case.

Guests will be allowed at all events, but with everything else in this plan it could change according to guidance and recommendations from the Marshall County Health Department.
