New Manufacturing Center in Plymouth Nearing Completion

The construction of a new manufacturing center in Plymouth is expected to be complete in September.

The building at 2809 Jim Neu Drive will be 43,000 square feet that is expandable to over 100,000 square feet to fit a company’s needs with easy access to U.S. 30 and U.S. 31.  Majority Builders is the contractor for the project.

The project cost is about $2.1 million that is funded, in part, by a Regional Development Authority loan of $400,000 and $1.7 million to be financed by the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation through Centier Bank.

The construction process suffered a few delays during the pandemic and some pieces that arrived that were not the right size, but Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi told the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members at their most recent meeting that the project is expected to be complete next month.
