Culver Community School Corporation Treasurer Casey Howard asked the school board members for permission to advertise the 2022 budget, three-year Capital Projects Plan and five-year Bus Replacement Plan. The board members voted to approve the advertisement with a unanimous vote.
The budget will be advertised on Indiana’s Gateway website.
The Referendum Fund is estimated at $2.1 million, Rainy Day Fund at $400,000, Debt Service Fund at $1,682,479, School Pension Debt at $269,840, the Education Fund at $5,784,800, and the Operations Fund at $4,682,976.
The total budget is $14,920,095.
The public hearing for the budget is set for Monday, September 20 at 7 p.m. ET while the adoption date is Monday, October 4 at the same time. Both hearings are scheduled during the school board’s regular public meetings. Howard noted that more detail about the budget will be held during the September 20 public hearing.
