The Town of Argos will soon be promoting itself with a pair of new videos. The town council recently approved a proposal from Red Door Marketing. It calls for two videos, each five to nine minutes long, for a cost not to exceed $5,000.
Footage will be shot at town events like TGIF Argos over the coming months. They also want to incorporate the new downtown square once it’s done.
The town’s cost can be split between the 2021 and 2022 budgets, using money in the Community Development Fund.
Meanwhile, the Argos Town Council will meet tonight where they will consider a TIF 4 resolution and a Power Tracker resolution. Town Attorney Derek Jones will provide updates, as well as Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney, Utility Superintendent Jamie Lindstrom, Police Chief Corey Bowman, EMS Director Sarah McCallum, and Economic Development Director Mark VanDerWeele.
