One New COVID-19 Case Reported in Pulaski County

One more person tested positive with COVID-19 in Pulaski County, according to Thursday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  There were no cases reported in Starke County or in Marshall County.

There were 232 additional cases of COVID-19 reported in the state which increases the overall total number of cases since March 2020 to 750,432. 

One more person in the state has died of COVID-19 raising the overall death total to 13,344. 

The number of COVID-19 variant cases keeps climbing.  There are 3,248 cases of the B.1.1.7 (Alpha) variant, 430 cases of the P.1 (Gamma) variant, 413 cases of the Epsilon variant, 39 cases of the Delta variant, and 27 cases of the Beta variant. 

The state’s dashboard also showed a total number of 95 confirmed cases of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children. 

The COVID-19 vaccine is available to residents age 12 and older.  Vaccination clinics can be found at www.ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211. 

Over 5.4 million doses of the vaccine have been administered in Indiana and over 2.7 million residents are fully vaccinated.  Over 39 percent of Marshall County and Pulaski County residents are fully vaccinated, along with over 31 percent of Starke County residents.
