The Marshall County Council will meet today where they will hold a public hearing concerning the appropriation of proceeds from the East Shore Conservancy District bonds for 2021.
The council members will also hear from newly appointed Marshall County Superior Court No. 3 Judge Matt Sarber about staffing for his court.
The council will consider the approval of several tax abatement compliance forms, additional appropriations, transfers and ordinances that establish several funds in the budget. Community Corrections Director Ward Byers, Marshall County Public Health Nurse Lisa Letsinger, Marshall County Chief Probation Officer James Bendy, and WIC Director Evelyn Shields will present grant requests to the council. Additionally, Sheriff Matt Hassel will discuss hours for a cook at the jail.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9 a.m. ET today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
