Work to repair an alley entry off Winfield Street in Culver will begin soon.
Culver Town Manager Ginny Bess Munroe said many residents have experienced vehicle damage due to the deterioration of the entry of the alley. Utility Superintendent Bob Porter received a quote to repair the sidewalk and approach with concrete in the area between Main and Plymouth Street in the amount of $2,850.
Culver Town Council President Bill Githens noted that there are a few trouble spots with alleys in town, but this seems to be the most hazardous.
The town council members approved the quote for $2,850 as presented. The contractor will schedule that work and it is expected to be done soon.
