Eleven New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Tri-County Area

There were 10 additional cases of COVID-19 in Marshall County and one additional case in Starke County, according to Sunday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  There were no new cases in Pulaski County.

Another 565 new cases of COVID-19 were reported throughout the state, but there were no new deaths in Sunday’s report. 

The COVID-19 vaccine is available to everyone aged 12 and older.  The Pfizer vaccine is only available to people under the age of 18.  Otherwise, the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are widely available at over 700 clinics in the state.  To find the nearest site with the desired vaccine, visit www.ourshot.in.gov or call 211. 

A mobile vaccination clinic will be at the First Church in Wheatfield and at the La Casa de Amistad in South Bend Tuesday-Thursday this week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.  A mobile vaccination clinic will also be available Thursday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Civil Rights Heritage Center in South Bend.

Over five million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana and over 2.4 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
