West Shore Drive in Culver will be closed Tuesday, April 6 in order to do some prep work prior to a paving project in that area. The closure is only anticipated to be one day.
Paving will be done on West Shore Drive as part of a list of projects to be complete this spring with Community Crossings Matching Grant funds.
E&B Paving previously submitted the lowest bid to do the work at $247,475.25. The projects outlined in the grant include mill and prep, hot mix asphalt overlay, concrete sidewalk removal, and installation of ADA sidewalk ramps where necessary on portions of West Shore Drive, Terrace Drive, Fleet Parkway, Marmont Street, Lewis Street, White Street, Lakeview Street, Lincoln Street, Miami Street, and Lakeshore Drive.
The bid also includes crack sealing on portions of 21 streets in town.
