Plymouth BPWS, City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety meet tonight where they will open quotes for Police Department vehicles.

The board members will also consider an electronic meeting policy resolution and receive updates from department heads on certain projects within the city. 

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET. 

The Plymouth City Council members will consider an ordinance adopting a property registration program for the City of Plymouth, while Mayor Mark Senter will introduce Steve Holm who was recently appointed as the new fire chief.  Several tax abatement compliant forms will be reviewed from Farm Innovators, Inc., AK Industries, Inc., and Marshall County Life Center, Inc. 

A baby box donation will be presented by Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver.  Xaver will also have an update on the comprehensive plan for the General Fund. 

The council members will also consider an electronic meeting policy resolution.

Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers room on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street.  Those attending the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.  A link to attend the meeting virtually can be found here
