The Marshall County Commissioners will have more discussion the American Rescue Plan when they meet today. A plan on how to spend $8.9 million in the next three years will soon be developed with recommendations from a committee who will gather information on lost revenue and potential projects.
The commissioners will also consider a letter of support for the Continuity of Operations Plan.
Sheriff Matt Hassel will present two grant application requests, Andrew Fitzpatrick from the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall County will have an update, Recorder Janet Howard will present a Fidlar contract for a scanning project, and Coroner John Grolich will have a contract for a piece of equipment at the morgue.
Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Director Doug Masterson will discuss the demolition project on Jefferson Street, and IT Director Michael Marshall will talk about internet connections. Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Julie Fox will present regular reports.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. ET today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
