Culver-Union Township EMS Director Jeff Koon asked the Culver Town Council members this week for permission to seek ambulance bids.
Koon said Culver 1 ambulance was just repaired with updated maintenance. More work needed to be done as workers found other issues while fixing existing problems. The claim the council approved was for $7,013.89 to Weirs International Trucks for the work.
The specs would be put out for bid. The ambulance may be purchased this year with delivery next year. Koon will be trading in the older ambulance in this proposed transaction.
The Culver Town Council members approved the request as the purchase is budgeted.
