Thirteen New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Marshall County

Thirteen additional people in Marshall County tested positive with COVID-19, according to Thursday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  Starke County and Pulaski County did not have any new cases to report. 

There were 966 more people in the state diagnosed with COVID-19 in Thursday’s report and another 13 deaths in the state.  The total number of COVID-19 statewide deaths is now 12,495. 

Indiana residents who are 45 and older along with healthcare workers, long-term care residents, first responders, and educators and school support staff through grade 12 are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To schedule an appointment, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211.

Pulaski Memorial Hospital will host a vaccination clinic Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET at the Winamac Knights of Columbus.  Appointments are required by visiting https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211.  The site is identified as Pulaski Mem Knights of Col.  Indiana Department of Health guidelines will be followed during this clinic. 

As of Thursday, 1,356,761 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered with 890,159 people fully vaccinated.  There are 5,474 people fully vaccinated in Marshall County, 2,180 people in Starke County and 1,886 people in Pulaski County.
