The Marshall County Council members will hold a public hearing this morning so members of the public can gather more information on the Bremen Public Library’s renovation project and General Obligation bonding.
The council will also hear from Ginny Munroe from The Troyer Group concerning the county’s application for the second phase and third phase of COVID-19 Response Grant Funding from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
Chief Probation Officer James Bendy will present a grant request for the upcoming fiscal year, and Treasurer Angie Birchmeier will bring forward an ordinance amendment that deals with the Innkeepers Tax. Highway Superintendent Jason Peters is also anticipated to ask the council to appropriate funding for more road work and preventative bridge maintenance.
Additional appropriation requests and transfer requests will also be considered by the council members, along with a salary ordinance amendment.
The Marshall County Council will meet today at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
