The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where they will open bids for the Courthouse restoration project.
The commissioners will also consider a claim request from Graycraft signs for the LED message boards. The county received a grant for message boards to be placed in each community to display COVID-19 information and other important county and community information so residents can be informed. They will also consider an appointment to the Culver-Union Township Public Library, and a resolution honoring an Eagle Scout.
A Marshall County Purdue Extension report will be presented along with a grant request from Chief Probation Officer James Bendy, and regular reports from Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Julie Fox.
Sheriff Matt Hassel is also anticipated to present the county’s new K9 to those attending the meeting.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
