The newly installed LED message marquee at the REES Theatre in downtown Plymouth will be lighted for the first time Saturday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Members of the community are invited to join the Marshall County Crossroads team, the REES Development Team, and community leaders, as the REES marquee on Michigan Street is the first of six LED message display boards to present information to the community.
Each community in Marshall County received a new digital LED message board to be built to the specifications of municipal leaders that will display important COVID-19 information, emergency information or community information.
The message boards were purchased with COVID-19 relief grant funding with additional funds supplied by municipal governments for specific modifications. The signs were included in the Stellar Communities Regional Plan.
The REES Theatre marquee message board came together by the COVID-19 relief grant, Marshall County Tourism support, gap funding families, and The REES.
