The Culver Town Council members will hold a public hearing tonight to take comments on an ordinance that would establish updated park fees or costs. There is a proposed rate change to rent the second floor of the Culver Beach Lodge and that information will be presented for consideration prior to the planned first reading of the ordinance.
The council members will also provide an update concerning the third phase of the Lake Max Trail. The council members entered a work session last week with officials from Ancilla College and The Troyer Group to discuss the route of this portion of the trail.
In other business tonight, a town manager offer will be reviewed and the town council members plan to discuss their opposition to Senate Bill 389 that deals with the wetlands.
During their last meeting, the council members approved a grant agreement to install charging stations for electric cars and now they will consider signing a Memorandum of Understanding with MACOG as the process continues.
Stellar updates will be given along with updates from Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim, all department heads, and commission and board members, as necessary.
The Culver Town Council members will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET tonight at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street. Those wishing to attend the meeting should do so virtually, or make prior arrangements with the Clerk-Treasurer to attend in person.
